After descent of earthquake
From the kingdom of Nepal
Many lives are on stake
Open fields now resemble a kraal
It was a beautiful morning
The calamity took an entry
Without any prior warning
People in constant worries
Shortage of food and water supplies
Those under the debris
Unheard their silent cries
Hard today the government strives
To save the hundreds and thousands
of lives
Far away from there I can only say
I join my hands and to the Almighty
pray
For safety of those left ravaged
And restoration of all that was
damaged
